DEFINITION:

An instance in which content, information, media, a message, an advertisement, an image, or a communication becomes visible or available to an audience member, creating the opportunity for attention.

FUNCTION:

Measures exposure potential by recording when content appears within an observer's field of awareness, regardless of whether interaction occurs.
