A felt state of significance, value, intensity, attraction, aversion, connection, motivation, or meaning that influences perception, memory, attention, belief, decision-making, identity, and behavior.

FUNCTION:

Transforms information into importance by assigning experiential weight and motivational force to symbols, narratives, identities, and perceptions.
